The premise of Originals Studio is to live as a creativity and culture exchange programme for our creative youth, celebrating and empowering original thinking, the programme sets to bridge the gap between young creators and industry leaders by giving young creators access to knowledge, skills and ultimately building the confidence to take steps into their creative futures.
adidas Originals: ORIGINALS STUDIO
Originals Studio is built through a collaboration-first approach, with our ever-growing network of original thinkers, creators and culture makers.
For this instalment, we conceptualised the first standalone adidas Originals Studio experience in Joburg’s Victoria Yard district, a one-day creative festival, aimed at opening up access to a thousand participants.
A full-day creative exchange that integrated immersive workshops, keynote talks, and a high-energy music experience to celebrate together the collective effort to make Original’s Studio a reality, attended by over a thousand young creators.
campaign identity
The visual language that informed the campaign focused on encapsulating the creative spirit of Originals Studio - through partnering with local illustrator, Yay Abe - we were able to create dynamic, layered visuals that captured both the clean adidas branding and the playful nature of the campaign.
The identity informed our digital comms - from general event comms to more special pieces of content such as partner playlists. As well as our physical event decor - eg. entrance signage, personalised guest lanyards, workshop spaces, product installation and screen content.
